Sounds interesting, but could you say a little more about it? Thanks

Well its an attempt to analyse the Polish transition in the context of the international changes that have occurred after the reintroduction of capitalism in Eastern Europe. It uses Gramsci's analysis of hegemony and the historical bloc and Rosa Luxemburg's theory of primitive accumulation as a theoretical basis for understanding the 'post-communist' transition. I also analyse how the neo-liberal reforms eroded support for liberal democracy in Poland and how this helped to facilitate a turn to the right. One chapter is deveoted to the left and how its adaptation of Blairite third way policies contributed to its marginalisation.
